Purity and Specificity

The antibody was isolated from antisera by immunoaffinity chromatography using antigens coupled to agarose beads. Based on immunoelectrophoresis and/or ELISA, the antibody reacts with whole molecule chicken IgY, and with the light chains of other chicken immunoglobulins. No reactivity was detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins.
