Dermal Microvascular Endothelial Cells include cells isolated from small vessels within skin tissue from either adults or neonatal foreskins. Cells are cultured to be ≥90% pure and specifically enriched for dermal LECs and BECs. Dermal microvascular cells, from either neonates or adults (HMVEC-D) are a mixed population of both blood (HMVEC-DBl) and lymphatic (HMVEC-DLy) endothelial cells.
Adult cells are designated with an ‘Ad’; neonate cells are designated with ‘Neo’. Both pooled and single donors are available. Additional donor characteristics may be available by contacting our Scientific Support Team. CloneticsTM Cells, Medium and Reagents are quality tested together and guaranteed to give optimum performance as a complete cell system. Cryopreserved cells are shipped in third passage.
Cryopreserved Dermal Microvascular Endothelial Cells are guaranteed through 15 population doublings (CC-2543, CC-2505 & CC-2516) and 12 population doublings (CC-2810, CC-2811, CC-2812 & CC-2813) , express CD31/105, von Williebrand Factor VIII, and are positive for acetyated low density lipoprotein uptake. All cells test negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. HIV-1, hepatitis B and hepatitis C are not detected for all donors and/or cell lots. A Certificate of Analysis is provided for each cell lot purchased.
